Terms of service
These terms describe the course Fintok provides, what a subscription includes, and what remains your responsibility.
Last updated August 2, 2026
Agreement and provider
These terms are an agreement between you and BFAN CONSULTING INC, a company incorporated in California, with its registered address at 1150 S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The company operates the Fintok AI service as Fintok.
By creating an account, buying a subscription, or using Fintok, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Fintok provides
Fintok is an AI-fluency course for commercial real estate professionals. It includes authored lessons, commercial real estate practice materials, a live model sandbox, grading, progress records, and learner work products. Features and course material may change as the course is improved.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in access secure and provide accurate account information. An account is for one learner. You may not share an account or let another person use your subscription. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Paid access is offered on monthly and annual subscription periods at the price shown before checkout. Stripe processes payment. A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it.
You may cancel at any time through Manage billing in your Fintok profile. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period. You keep paid access until that date and are not charged for the next period.
After purchase, Fintok emails a confirmation that repeats the charge, renewal, cancellation, refund, Terms, and Privacy details. Fintok sends a yearly subscription reminder. Annual plans also receive a separate notice 15 to 45 days before renewal.
Fourteen-day refund
You may request your money back within fourteen days of your first subscription payment. Email support@fintokai.com from the account's email address within that window. Fintok will refund that first payment to the original payment method.
After fourteen days, payments are not refunded, including for unused time. You may still cancel at any time, and paid access continues through the end of the period you already paid for.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- share, sell, or transfer your account;
- scrape, copy, or systematically extract the course or its grading material;
- resell, sublicense, or offer Fintok access to someone else;
- try to bypass access, usage, security, or payment controls; or
- use the service in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
Fintok may suspend or end access when it reasonably believes this section has been breached.
Course ownership and your work
Fintok owns the course, including its authored lessons, scenarios, interface, grading methods, and original materials. Your subscription gives you a personal, limited right to use that course while you have access. It does not transfer ownership of the course.
You own what you write and what you build in Fintok. You allow Fintok and its service providers to process that work only as needed to run the lesson, generate and grade a response, save the thread, provide an export, and operate the service.
Not professional advice
Fintok teaches professionals how to use AI. It does not provide real estate, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. A model response can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. A model's reading of a document is not a professional determination.
Nothing produced in a lesson, by the sandbox, or by another Fintok tool is a professional opinion. Verify model output against the source material and use qualified professional judgment before acting. You remain responsible for decisions made in your own work.
Availability and warranties
Fintok works to keep the service available and the course accurate, but does not promise uninterrupted access or that model output will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fintok and its owners, officers, employees, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business, or opportunities arising from the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Fintok and those parties for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid Fintok during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. A jurisdiction that does not allow a particular exclusion or limit will apply it only to the extent its law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in California will hear disputes that the parties cannot resolve directly.
Changes to these terms
Fintok may update these terms as the service changes. For a material change, Fintok will post the new terms with a new effective date and give notice through the service or by email. Continuing to use Fintok after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
